new moon sequel : ECLIPSE
Before i get my hands on Eclipse I have been wondering how the story will evolve. How will she spice up her simple love story?
What is the fate for Bella? Both the revenge-seeking Victoria and the Volturi are so eager to have her killed.
How Bella fight over with her increasingly strong feelings towards Jacob when she has always been sure that she wants no one except Edward? But she can't live without Jacob either. (love is just so complicated)
As graduation day was approaching for Bella, it also meant that in no time her wish to become vampire will be granted. Carlisle promised. As much as Edward dislike the idea, he hated to hurt Bella in any way.He had to agree.Of course he wished to be with her forever and by being immortal his wish will come true.
The return of the avengeful Victoria once again provoked the worries of both the parties (vampire and werewolf) involved to protect Bella from any danger despite their high confidence in defeating Victoria.
The interesting part came when the Quileutes legend was being told.It was said that the Quileutes were initially spirit warriors and Kaheleha was the first great Spirit Chief in their history but was not the first spirit warrior.Kahelela took his spirit army and wreaked havoc on the intruders who came against them. Then came the last great Spirit Chief, Taha Aki. Here is how werewolves come about. Taha Aki was forced to be in his spirit form when his body was destroyed by Utlapa who was one of Chief Taha Aki's strongest spirit warriors with wild and high ambition to build an empire. Taha Aki entered the big wolf as he wanted to rip Utlapa's throat out after Yut was mercilessly killed by Utlapa. The oppressive anger and hatred and love in Taha Aki were too vast for the wolf's body. The wolf shuddered and transformed into a man.
The story continued with more gripping thrills in which the newborn vampires grew outrageously and were slaying innocent lives to death which amounted to an alarming death toll in Seattle. The suspense heightened when Bella's life was intruded by an unknown 'visitor' .The 'visitor' stole her pillow and a shirt for the sole purpose of getting her scent. The sudden existence of this 'visitor' raised the fear of Bella as well as the Cullens and the werewolves. WHY ON EARTH WOULD YOU THINK?WHO WAS BEHIND THIS? The Volturi? Victoria? Edward denied any of that because of the unrecognizable scent in Bella's room. But he was hundred percent sure that the scent belonged to one of its own kind.Vampire. Alice could foresee an imminent battle with the newborns. The Cullens suspected that these newborns were involved in the treacherous plot against killing Bella. With Jasper's expertise in dealing with the newborns and Alice's special vision and help from the pack of werewolves, they worked together to handle the battle.Equipped with well-planned strategies. It was later found out that the one who had been behind everything was Victoria! She was the one who was responsible for the large newborns coven which tried to kill Bella. Victoria was eventually killed by Edward in an almost effortless way after her assistant was being badly hurt by Seth and Edward.
FALLING IN LOVE WITH TWO PERSONS AT THE SAME TIME? TWO FUTURES, TWO SOUL MATES. Seemed like out of the question...
Seeing what had happened and developed between Jacob and Bella, it was unbearable for Edward but he would not force Bella into making a choice between him and Jacob. Edward was so unselfish that he was ready to be the noble one. Self-sacrifice.He would accept it if Bella had decided to choose Jacob. He would let her go in the sense that he'd never show her how hard it was for him.But he would keep watching, waiting for the day when Jacob had to leave Bella someday..
Well, things surely didn't turn out the way Jacob had wanted. Not at the present time.Guess what?Edward and Bella would be getting married soon!!!They were engaged!Hahaha..much to my favour.(But somehow Jacob has gained a place some part in my heart.Kinda hoping he and Bella would somehow have a happy ending. The contradict ME.)
The never-ending suspenses in Eclipse made me enjoy every moment of my reading.

hard decision time
I am put in a very difficult situation now! Either way it will be difficult!
Time is ticking away and i need to make decision quick.....she needs an answer.
I know the right decision yet i can't give a final word.
I know i should have 'IT'. But at the thought of 'IT' really scare the pants off me.Freakishly PANIC.
Cold,clammy hands
Beads of sweat covering the body
Throbbing heart...
Mind you! Having a syringe poke into any part of my body would be one of the most horrible things in my life! If there is no necessity i would not even want to think of it.Not even for a second!
Yes i m NEEDLE PHOBIA!!! Awww...i can imagine those excruciatingly painful moments...OK injection does not have to be painful but if the person who does the injection is not professional i will SUFFER!
Just moments ago, my mum had asked me whether or not i want a vaccination.Serves as a protection as we will be traveling soon.(Influenza A H1N1 virus scare!)She had sought the advice from her long-time personal doctor and he recommends influenza vaccination.I see your good intention my dear mum....sigh...i know very well i should say 'yes'...the doctor should be professional enough to give me a good shot (he is an experienced doctor i should say)..what else is there to worry about then???
SIGH.
In my 22 years of life i had had only 2 injections. For same reason.Blood test.
Well..vaccination should not be anything different right? :s
RIGHT.RIGHT.RIGHT.
PAIN.PAIN.PAIN. (arghhhhhhhh....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
OKAY.
I have the decision already. (as if there has been other option...)
*there will be another option if i prefer to risk my life*
Hope he does not slip or i would be having a taunting moment.

intriguing day
A definitely pleasing place to be.
Well, today i had a great afternoon.
Guess what? :)
I made a trip to Kellies Castle, the rediscovered mansion which was unfinished due to the demise of its owner, William Kellie-Smith in December 1962. The trip was pleasant and enjoying. :) If i could stay longer (the weather looked gloomy and as if it was going to rain), the rm4 per entry would be kind of worthwhile.
*If u bring student card, u'll only be charged for rm3*
Despite looking old and having signs of decay, the castle is still captivating and brings a sense of mythical feeling, exuding an air of grandeur. It is believed that the spirits od Old Man Kellie still wanders along the corridors....
Housed in this grand 6-storey castle were several interesting rooms which include 'The Mystery of Helen's room," "Anthony's dressing room", "Kellie's guest room", "Son's (Anthony) room" and "Daughter's (Helen) room".
Yeah i have noticed there are some secret staircases which can lead to outside of the castle. Secret staircase, emergency stairway, underground tunnel were just so common in ancient days. As the castle was not fully constructed, there are certain parts like the secret staircase and underground tunnel which cannot be accessed due to lack of safety measure. So, i can't explore it...though have a strong urge to have at least a look of how it is like.. :(
But, i managed to capture the image of one emergency stairway :)
Below is the description of the wine cellar and underground tunnel.
Oh, not forgetting the special lift shaft which was supposed to be the first bucket lift in Malaya...
Some parts like the tower block and the new wing of the castle were constructed with bricks called apricot bricks. What an unique brick! The bricks were imported from Italy.
The following picture i gonna show is something that is truly amazing and fantastically cool!
Kellies Castle was built in 1909 and named after its owner, William Kellie-Smith. The construction, however, was unfinished upon the demise of Smith. The intention to surpass his estate bungalow which named Kinta Kelas brought about the idea of constructing Kellie's Castle. 70 tough workers, mostly from Madras, were employed. But during the construction, tragedy struck. There was an emerge of a mysterious illness which killed many workers. The superstitious Smith was told that a temple must be built to appease the gods. A Hindu temple was then built nearby. Upon completion, work continued but unfortunately the building was never to be completed because another tragedy hit again. Smith died of Pneumonia at the age of 56 during a visit to Lisbon. His wife sold the estate and as time passed and when it reached tHe end of colonial rule, the castle soon faded into memory.
The almost one-hour exploring is truly fun! Enjoyed it so much! What an experience! Partly thanks to my dear brother for giving the suggestion :P

nEw mOon
Bet these 2 names sound familiar to those who have watched Twilight. Simply love the movie as well as the story...I still remember how i have ached so much for the sequel of twilight, that is, new moon soon after watching twilight.(I am just so into vampire kinds of stories and movies. Those who know me know this.) It was like a dream come true when i received a complete series of Stephenie Meyer's collection 2 weeks ago. A surprise gift from an undeniably good friend of mine. Thanks to U first (if you read this blog).
Sometimes i don't quite understand myself. I can be one that do things half way. But, this time i finished up reading new moon so fast that i couldn't believe i did it.Funny. Maybe when i want something desperately i would really go for it until the very end. Yes, I do. Guess is this desperation that drives me crazy for the progress of the story.Desperately curious to know what is in store for Bella and Edward.
Think i'd better be straightforward and fast in this blog. (Some friends have complained about my long-winded blog and said is boring.) *But,can't help it because when i start writing, i won't stop until I think it is good enough.*
Personally i like this new moon sequel pretty much. There are so many new adventures being introduced. The unexpected happened. Vampires versus werewolves. What more can you expect? Simply irresistible. As i turned each page i discovered more of the unexpected.Edward left Bella!I couldn't accept it!!! It was as if the world was crashing down on me!(though i am not Bella).Heart-wretched. I was consumed by misery for some time. Felt so frustrated(frustration discontinued when almost reaching the end of the story)..As i kept turning the pages, another discovery was made. Her best friend was the werewolf! And the werewolf fell head over heels in love with dear Bella! But, in Bella's heart Edward will always be her Romeo.Forever. Yet, she felt comfortable with the presence of her werewolf companion. His hugs. The warm and comforting feelings whenever he held her hand. Somehow, he'd become essential to her survival.. More complications arouse with the comeback of Victoria..pathetic Bella. Bella = danger magnet. The most long-awaiting part finally came when Edward found out that Bella was 'dead' as he thought Charlie was attending her daughter's funeral. With Alice's special power of seeing what will happen in the future, Bella was told that Edward flew to Italy. Italy..the Volturi.
"You don't irritate them. Not unless you want to die," Bella recalled what Edward once told her before. Bella was horrified and immensely worried at the thought of Edward.....
Feel the excitement???haha...
I don't think i want to continue the tale..discovering it by yourself is much more interesting. I just have so much fun reading the whole book. Eclipse is beside me now..hehe...an overwhelming interest to read this following sequel of new moon.
Romance.Suspense.Adventures.NEW MOON is definitely a page-turner. :):):)
Kudos to Stephanie Meyer!

i've always known it...
Yeah i am so determined to finish off the reading..so much so that i spent the whole night reading the children's picture bible. Miraculously, though without sleeping, my mind is fresh and i do not sleepy at all!!! Could it be God who give me the strength??? (because normally i would feel sleepy after staying up whole night...but not this time..) *wondering*
Despite reading bible (children version), the retold stories are simply exciting and informative (esp for people like me who are a non-Christian). My head now is filled with the many characters and adventures in the stories. God, Abraham, Isaac,Moses, David, King Solomon, Daniel, Israelites, the Jews, Babylon, etc. Honestly, after reading the bible, my sense of virtues and beliefs of God have become increasingly stronger. Living in today's corrupted society which are filled with crimes, senseless murders and wars, and the extremists, it is easy to lose one's virtue as one is spiritually weakened to a great extent. Okay i won't be going any further...i am not the type that are too religious..... ;)
Last few days when i was sick and resting at home i suddenly noticed the bible which has not been touched for quite some time. It was a present from a dear friend of mine. Interestingly enough, i picked on the book and began flippping through the pages. At first, i felt rather lazy. Perhaps i just can't sit still for too long and get easily distracted...After several attempts to stay focused, i finally managed to do so. As i read , i become more inquisitive and last night i flipped through untill the end.
Well, i do not regret..not even a bit..for reading this bible. I shall resume the reading during my coming break. ;) for those who are interested to have an insight into how the world begins, don't hesitate to get your hands on this book. ;P

chilling yet refreshing air ; dull yet enchanting stretch of greenery
Just came back from a wonderful 3 days 2 nights (6 Dec ,7 Dec and 8 Dec 2008) trip to Cameron Highlands.Nice!Fun!Great!
Scenic, breathtaking, invigorating, tranquil ,Cameron Highlands is simply a good holiday destination.Affordable and enchanting!I feel totally refreshed and relaxed!!! Indeed a great place to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life..trust me.
Just feel like can't get enough of the cool breeze though the biting cold (especially in the early morning, late evening or after heaving rain) gave me occasional shudder...i can say the weather is a bit nasty. It rained these two days..drizzling then heavy rain then drizzle again..not long after it had stopped the rain continued..this kind of weather just put me off. The rainy weather also prevented me from having a pleasant walk at the pasar malam in brinchang town. (upset)
Despite the rainy weather, the trip to Cameron is still a worthwhile one. Some spots that must never be missed out are Sungei Palas Tea Plantation, Boh Tea Centre and Strawberry farm!
*but i didn't visit strawberry farm this time*
The valley views at Boh Tea centre are breathtaking.
The greenery are so pleasant.
The atmosphere is simply exquisite and peaceful.
Honestly, as i am typing now, my mind is picturing the splendid valley views which are still fresh in my mind as i had just visited the Boh Tea centre this early morning before departuring back to Ipoh..
How i wish i could spend more time there.....
In case you don't know, the road leading to the Boh Tea Centre is indeed very narrow and winded. A slightly larger vehicle ( e.g traveling bus) will block the entire road..
If timing isn't right then either one of the drivers has to reverse to let the others pass through.
The drive to the Boh Tea plantation actually gave me the creeps...I even swore that i wouldn't want to come again initially. But, after reaching the place, i was so reluctant to leave...
Let the expert talk :
-K.F.Yong
*Young drivers who haven't driven to Boh Tea centre before take note!*
Not forgetting the authentic-looking, English-style Ye Olde Smokehouse which is one of the fabled landmarks in this highland town.In this 2-storey hotel, it houses a number of exquisitely-named rooms :
Spencer, Elgin, Ambleside, GlenLee, Warwick, Croft, GwenLaura, Glenmore, Hazelwell, Cottage, Garden, Squire, Wycombe and Fairhaven.
Enjoyed the whole trip very much!
Thanks to my parents for coming up with the idea of spending a few days in Cameron... :)
I will surely go again!
